Ombudsman? A Long-Term Care Ombudsman advocates for residents of nursing homes and residential care facilities. An ombudsman receives, investigates and resolves complaints on behalf of nursing home residents and their families. An ombudsman regularly visits residents to hear their concerns and complaints.
